Mortgage capacity ??

I am currently getting divorced and have been asked to provide a statement of my mortgage capacity. I have zero credit facilities (due to bad credit) but need to provide evidence as why I need enough cash to buy a home outright. I have asked my local bank and they didn't appear to be able to provide a statement of my mortgage capacity. Any help on where I could get this document would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

there are mortgages available for people with bad credit although you will likely need a low LTV (assuming you have income)...maybe speak to a broker and see what they believe would be available to you for a mortgage0

As brokers we do this kind of thing occasionally for people.
Ask an independent mortgage broker to provide you with what you need.
Expect to pay for this service.I am a Mortgage Broker
