Carlsberg Probably the cheapest lager in the world

Hy
Sorry if posted elsewhere, but i thought i had better post before i become too drunk.
Been to Sainsbury's tonight and got 4 boxes containing 20 bottles in each box for £7.49 per box of Carlsberg Extra and got a FREE compost box at the checkout for a box of bin liners.
Oh and my Nectar points
Anyway must go as i intend to do some serious market research on my lager

  • This is a good deal and I posted about a few days ago, though I guess many people will have missed it.

This works out at £1.36 per litre / 77p per pint.

In my opinion however, a much better buy are the Sainsbury's Taste The Difference lagers on half price offer of 4 x 330ml bottles for £1.99. This works out at £1.50 per litre / 86p per pint. Obviously that's a bit more, but you are getting proper beer brewed in the UK in accordance with German purity laws. I'm drinking the Bavarian style wheat beer right now and there really is no comparison with the mass produced UK brewed stuff like Stella, Grolsch, Kronenbourg and Carlsberg Export that I normally drink.
