New credit after mortgage accepted.

Last week we applied for a mortgage with the Halifax using the help to buy scheme, and we were swiftly accepted with no problems.
Would it affect my application if I was to take out a new mobile phone contract, my current contract with EE is half way through its 30 days notice period. Would it be viewed as a like for like credit because mobile credit is common.
My credit score is 912 with experian if that helps and we flew through the budgets.
I know that the lenders will or can run rolling credit checks until completion of the mortgage. The house estimated completion date is 4th December to 24th February so it's a while befor completion.
Any advice would be great.

A new mobile phone contract shouldn't be an issue. Lenders aren't interested in normal day to day activity.0

That's good to know. I am a first time buyer and didn't want to do anything that could affect my mortgage.0

Today I got myself a new phone contract after viewing my credit file and seeing that Halifax have carried out there searches on my account.
All I am waiting for now is the surveyor to do his/her bit tomorrow before proceeding with the mortgage offer.
Fingers crossed.0
