Switching current accounts 6 months before remortgaging

Options
Hello

I'm looking at remortgaging end of April next year when my current fixed deal comes to an end. This will most likely be with a new provider as it looks like much better deals are available than with my current bank ..However I am currently very tempted to switch my current account as it looks like there is £200 cash available for switching to a Co-op bank account. Would this be a stupid thing to do 6 months before looking to remortgage? Is it likely to make it more difficult to get a new mortgage with another provider?
I've had the same current account for around 20 years now.

Keep the 20 year old account. Open a donor account, put 4 DDs on it, and switch that one instead. Easy innit! ;)

Thanks I had thought of that but seemed like a lot of hassle, I do have an old dormant account I could reactivate. Maybe I could go full circle and switch back to that one which is a bank that also offers a bonus! Wondering about the impact on the credit score of such activities though..
