help with CV ?

i am trying to re-write my CV but i have no idea what to put.

my jobcentre adviser keeps saying she will get me some help with writing it but never does, same with my work programme adviser

i have never had any paid work because i was a carer for a family member.

all i have is 8 months voluntary work at the bhf and two functional skills qualifications.

i am looking for a job in retail, what sort of things would i write on my cv ?
