Vacuum storage question

OH went off to Co*tco with a list and came home with a food saver! He reckons it will save space in our (admittedly too small) freezer.
We have a small under counter freezer and no space for anything bigger. OH promptly vacuumed bagels and scones bought during the shop but at his rate I will have a freezer full of vacuum bags and no space for anything else!
Does anyone know how long these vaccummed scones and bagels would last if we kept them in the cupboard rather than the freezer?

Not really sure, but freezing it would obviously be the better option, as the low temperature will help prevent mould etc from forming.0

Just make sure the bags are sealed.
Freezer burn makes food awful!0 -

No idea, trial and error ?
We too have one of those and it does save space at times. Like if something comes in a box like battered cod, getting rid of the box, and vac packing meat bought in trays.
One bit of advice is to get a good marker and write on the vac pac what something is and cooking instructions. Mum never does and I don't know if bits and bobs in the freezer are chicken or fish ( breadcrumbed)0
