Best method of creating a Facebook business page?

Good Morning Folks
I have a main Facebook page and also my business Facebook page. However, at the moment, the way I access my business page is by going into my main page then clicking the down arrow button at the far right within the blue border at the top, and clicking on my business page which is under the subheading 'Your Pages'. Is this the best way to create my business page or do you think I should create an entirely different page for my business rather than having to go through my main page in order to access it?
