piano tuning

Options
Hello, I am looking to have my old upright piano re-tuned (last time was more than a decade ago...). Can anyone recommend a good tuner in (central) London ? Thanks.

You can get those piano tuners on Ebay, similar to the little battery operated ones that you tune your guitar. Are they any good ?
Look on YouTube and maybe something will be there showing them.

    Oh, dear...

Yes, you can get piano tuning wrenches, and all the other tools on eBay too, but that won't get you the technique. It's a totally different ballgame to tuning a guitar.

I recommend asking on a more specific forum

    abrsm.org

Or consult the Piano Tuner's Association

I was indeed looking for a professional tuner (technician). Never intended to DIY (would be totally out of my league)!! Was just wondering if anyone knew of someone they used in the past whom they were satisfied with and they could recommend... Thanks Googler for the link.
