Leeds Building Society Mortgage Application Progress

Hi All,

I am new to this and have seen some old posts on here nothing this year.

Has anybody used Leeds BS and recieved a mortgage?
Any timescales?

We have just gone through an application with Leeds.

We applied on the 16th of may rang up the following Monday to see where it was at they said the underwriter has ticked everything off and was happy and the house was being valued on the 25th and we got our offer on the 30th of may.

I have felt like pulling my hair out over these last few weeks.
I was told that all checks have been completed prior to the valuation.
Valuation carried out last Wednesday, and Mortgage Advisor told me that it has been passed.

Just waiting on final checks! Im like what final checks!! i thought it all got passed, so just waiting on my offer! Hopefully it will all go through! Fingers crossed! did you have a smooth process?

Just to help other people with timescales too:

I submitted full application on the 13th June
Initial checks passed.
Valuation Booked in for Wednesday 20th June
Found out 25th June valuation has been passed
Mortgage Advisor informed me today that they are doing final checks and not too worry!( still stressing)
Awaiting for final offer

Our application just went in today with leeds. were First time buyers using help to buy. I am soo worried haha but how long can I expect?

Further to my previous post,

Just to help other people with timescales too:

I submitted full application on the 13th June

Took 4 days from Valuation!
Now on with Solicitors! - should take approx 4-6 weeks till i get keys, hopefully!

UPDATE - MORTGAGE OFFER RECEIVED FRIDAY 29TH JUNE 2018! :j:j:j:j

Dont worry about it, the waiting game is horrendous, not with leeds though.
I had tried a few other banks and got declined!

I went through a Mortgage Broker who helped and can not thank him enough.

Just be patient and relax, try not to think about it!
If its meant to be it will happen!
