Help to Buy London and Serving Military

Hi,
I can't seem to find an answer to this online so I was hoping someone may be able to help before I call the H2B helpline.
My partner (serving in the British Army) and I are looking to buy a H2B flat in London. I understand that under the terms of H2B, the home cannot be sublet. However, I was wondering whether there may be some sort of exception for those serving in the military seeing as officers can be sent to work abroad without much choice or say. If this does happen, I would be following him (my job as teacher means I have flexibility with location) and thus we would be stuck with our flat and the mortgage to pay and so subletting would be the ideal thing to do.
Can anyone offer any advice with this?
Thanks!

I remember when help to buy came out the government made it very clear that it could not be rented out. Maybe there is a different military scheme to help you.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.
