Loan negative balance

I had a persona loan with Lloyds and have recently ( a few days ago ) made the last payment to pay it off early as it was my last month anyway so I paid the final balance £247, but today it has taken out another £247 automatically so it shows -£247, I assume this will automatically be given back to me or will I need to call them?

They will refund it, but it would be worth giving them a call to check timescales.

Not in too much hurry to get it back, it's one way of stopping me spending it aha, also put in for my PPI, hopefully will get something back, is there some way of knowing approximately how much I would get back on a £6k loan over 3 years.

If you mean the 3 year loan you just paid off it would be surprising if it had PPI attached - Lloyds stopped selling it in 2010

Only Lloyds would be able to give you the definitive answer, call them.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Did you actually have PPI on the loan

Wait and see if they uphold your complaint if you did indeed have it before rubbing your hands in the hope that cash is coming, it may well not be upheld
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
  • I highly doubt you have a case for mis-selling of PPI...

    Your overpayment will be refunded.
