Moths eaten my vintage skirt!!

I have a beautiful vintage Gor-Ray wool skirt from the 1950s and I've just found half a dozen nibbled holes in it :cry:
It was in my wardrobe with all my other clothes, including other wool items. What is my best plan of action? Is it adult moths that munch stuff or their babies? How do I check the other stuff? And do I need to keep everything in bags?

Please advise me mse gurus!

    You need to wash everything, and re-store clean (and in clean wardrobes) with your choice of repellent (lavender, cedar or mothballs). In future it is good practice to freeze vintage items to kill any larvae and woolens should always be clean when you store them for the season.
