Incidentally, if you do go away to come back to Nationwide, I have just noticed that you can get £150 cashback for Nationwide mortgages on Topcashback.co.uk - wish I have noticed this when I signed up last week . Alternatively, Mortgage Genie and Money back Mortgages offer over £200 on Nationwide deals (if I hadn't been in a rush and needing the mortgage promise to get the house off the market, I would have gone that route - if only I had noticed TCB ... I normally pride myself on moneysaving and slip up on the biggest purchase
).
Ah well.

Do you know whether there are other fees applicable (other than the arrangement fee which they'll waive) for existing customers remortgaging?0

As stated above, the arrangement fee wasnt waved. Its a 'switcher' special product.
Other than the product fee (if any) there are no other costs in moving from one Nationwide mortgage to another assuming you have no tie in.0
