1. Free trials are only available to new subscribers of Tesco DVD Rental. Previous subscribers or triallists (of Tesco DVD Rental or any other service provided by the LOVEFiLM group of companies) do not qualify for a free trial.
2. The free trial is available only once to any one person and to only one member of a household. Subsequent free trials by the same person at any address, or by another person at the same address, are not permitted.
3. You must have internet access and valid payment details to redeem a free trial offer.
4. Upon registering for your free trial, your method of payment will be authorised for up to three months of service - to verify your identity, and to protect us from theft and fraud. Some banks or payment card companies may reflect this authorisation against your available balance or credit limit. No actual charges, however, will be made against the card if you cancel prior to the end of your free trial.
5. Your free trial period will commence on the date registration is completed and the account is successfully created.
6. We will begin billing you at the end of your free trial, and thereafter on prescribed intervals, monthly unless otherwise indicated, for the Tesco DVD Rental service, unless you cancel prior to the end of your free trial. We will continue to bill you by your chosen payment method for the Tesco DVD Rental service until you complete the cancellation process.
7. You must cancel your account before the end of your free trial to avoid charges. For instructions on how to do this, see the section on "Cancellation" below.

here are more detailed t & C, so I guess we can try and if they catch us and e-mail us, then we cancel, nothing lost nothing gained......

It doesn't say it won't so, all packages have the 14 days free trial.....

I wonder. I have just signed up for this deal, and paid for 3 months up front.
i wonder does that mean that as i have paid my 3 payments up front, will the ipod be sent quicker do you think? :T

you never know your luck do you! I have emailed customer services and asked them because the way it reads it says "3 consecutive monthly payments" well, I am not going to make 3 consecutive monthly payments, just the 1 payment which is already made. it was £11 something, then having gone through quidco, i should get an extra £4 off?

Look in the my account and pay up front near the bottom. It then extends your pay date to 3 months later and includes the free trial period.

The last time I signed up to a Tesco DVD rental offer it took me 6mths of battling to get their free gift out of them, not worth the effort IMO.

They say if you use prepay you will still get one but have to make three payemnts. Im gunna see if I can reverse my prepay or just pay more to the same as 3 months.

oh no i think your right it does look like if you pay up the 3 months you wont get the ipod. i have emailed them to check though. If you dont im going to cancel it in the free trail 14 days. would i get my money back?

i can confirm that if you have paid up front you wont get the free ipod as it needs to be 3 inidival payments. i had my email back today confirming it. so i cancelled my rental as i only wanted it for the ipod!:mad:
