Hi, do solicitors normally have the Tuesday of the bank holiday off? I've been allocated Grindeys via Nationwide, they've never answered and email and have picked the phone up once in 4 days. I've read the reviews, they aren't good. I'm remortgaging and removing a name from the deeds.

    We have found Grindleys fairly decent.

    You will always find a lot more bad reviews than good reviews. A good service is expected and taken for granted, only an exceptional one is likely to receive an online comment.

    I also used these two years ago and they are painfully slow and do not respond. Lucky for me, they're nominated by HSBC to organise my remortgage, I'm so thrilled....
