Improving credit rating, business loan..

I did a search but could only see relevant stuff to personal car finance.

Long and short of it - need to sort a mortgage in the next 2 years, I'm a self employed taxi driver. Want to improve my credit rating as much as possible, was wondering whether buying a vehicle on finance for business would improve or lower my rating. Obviously a personal car loan would affect my take home income but as a business it would come out of my expenses and so my profit will be the same, but may look favourably that I'm reliable? Just wondered if it would make a difference?

Thanks.

As far a lender is concerned a loan of any kind is a financial commitment. Managing the account properly is the minimum expected standard. To improve the way you look to a lender present the best possible net profit that you can.
