Fly spray the best?

So I found out the reason for the infestation, I thought about it yesterday when I went to put some bottles of drink I purchased in corner of kitchen next to a large bucket I put potatoes/onions and other veg that keeps into and noticed a few flies there.

Today I had a few more bottles (I get bulk purchases and put them so I don't have to buy any for a month or more) and noticed more flies, so I drag the bucket out and notice quite a few flies come out, take off the veg I bought last week from top of the package to notice liquified potatos (that smelled like human waste) under it and a few dozen flies fy away.

Emptied and scrubbed the bucket and put some more vinegar out for the last of the flies.
