    Do you have a link to that paper? There is so much guff out there about food at the moment that I take all of it with an extreme pinch of salt (Deliciously Ella and co, I'm looking at you)

    I did find this from the WHO which answers to some extent and is a fairly reliable source, unless you happen to follow take a conspiracy theorist view on government sponsored organisations. http://www.who.int/foodsafety/areas_work/food-technology/faq-genetically-modified-food/en/

    Still, I wouldn't be relying too heavily on soya, as much as anything because I think it's better to eat as wide a variety of foods as physically possible.

    Just made a sandwich with hummus and spiced carrots- lush! Fried carrots grated, in a splash of oil with a teaspoon of cumin seeds and the tppped all off with a handful of spinach for extra nutrients. Definitely recommend
