Wins from Mag Dailies?

I've done them four years, and used to win fairly often; last year was okay but not as well as before.

Not won anything on the dailies since March 2015.

I only started them recently, and go through spurts of doing them religiously and then leaving them a little. Two wins so far, a Cheerz photo album and tickets to an advanced screening of Now You See Me 2 with magic show (though had to ask them to redraw that due to work commitments).

Could I politely ask, not wanting to offend anyone at all, but I'm just interested if people who have won regularly also share via Twitter or Facebook or email so they get an extra chance, or is it possible to win regularly with just the one entry? Thank you, just being inquisitive.

MSEers with more knowledge than myself on the matter explained that the sharing is for extra entries on the magazine site daily... not extra entries into the hat per competition (though they explain it better than I just have). After being told this, I stopped sharing... and it is so much quicker!

Although the ones I have won I did enter daily, rather than the odd random entry.

As I usually never want to enter more than 25 competitions there's no need to share.

It's always possible to win with just one entry, but the chances of winning regularly with one entry to the mag dailies is less likely.

I never share and have won recently.

However.... by sharing, you're not getting an extra entry into that competition - you're just opening up another competition that you can enter.
For example, in the past, mags such as Look only used to let you enter 6 comps, but you could get to enter a 7th by sharing once, you could get to 10 by doing 4 shares, etc etc.
These days, most if not all of the mags allow entry into 25+ comps per day so there's hardly any need to share.
Not worth wasting your time if a) you don't need the extra comp and b) you're actually not getting an extra entry into the draw you think you are!
Hope that makes sense. It's a bit tricky to explain!

Wins from mags come like buses for me - often none for a few months then 2/3 all at once. I do keep entering for the prizes I want to keep for myself and I do not bother with prizes I don't need though as entering can be tempermental!
