Replacing original loan documents
Hello all,
A quick query.... ...would love some advice!
I have recently moved property and in transit managed to misplace documentation relating to a fixed-term loan taken out with Co-operative Bank back in 2010, which I am still re-paying.
Upon approaching my new local Co-op branch to change my address, I simultaneously asked if replacement copies of the original documents could be sent to me in the post. They said this was not common practice and their advisor who deals with loan management was in short supply for appointments due to co-managing a separate branch.
My query: Are financial institutions obligated to provide replacement of original documentation or is it my bad luck for misplacing everything?

If you push them, they should oblige.
Worst case, a SAR will deliver them at a cost of £10.0 -
I wouldn't have thought they were obliged to do so, although many will do it."Facism arrives as your friend. It will restore your honour, make you feel proud, protect your house, give you a job, clean up the neighbourhood, remind you of how great you once were, clear out the venal and the corrupt, remove anything you feel is unlike you... [it] doesn't walk in saying, "our programme means militias, mass imprisonments, transportations, war and persecution."0
