    3 1/2 months.

There was no objection by the creditors or any other problem. My OR's office was just very very busy.

EDIT: According to the OR they must give notice to your creditors once the IPOQ has been returned:
After giving notice to creditors and any insolvency practitioner trustee, the official receiver must await the expiry of 28 days and then check whether any objections have been received. URL="http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/freedomofinformation/technical/techmanvol1/Ch13-24/Chapter22/part2/notes.htm#4"]note 4[/URL In some cases, it is possible that the objection will be sent to OR Banking Section with an objection to the granting of the official receiver’s release as trustee (see paragraph 22.21EA).

If the case has been transferred to the RTLU, the official receiver must ensure that he/she immediately forwards any information or documentation (including telephone calls and e- mails) which would impact on the early discharge process to the RTLU.

If any objections are received, see also paragraphs 22.14EA - 22.18EA.

If no objections have been received then, after waiting a further 7 days to allow for any late objections, the official receiver must file in court 2 copies of Form 6.82 (form EDNOT) stating that the investigation of the conduct and affairs of the bankrupt is unnecessary or concluded. URL="http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/freedomofinformation/technical/techmanvol1/Ch13-24/Chapter22/part2/notes.htm#5"]note 5[/URLThe court will endorse each copy with the date of filing and return one copy to the official receiver. The official receiver must send a copy of the endorsed EDNOT to the (former) bankrupt.

The bankrupt is discharged on the date form EDNOT is filed at court as evidenced by the endorsement referred to above. The date of the bankrupt's discharge must be entered onto LOIS as soon as the official receiver receives form EDNOT endorsed by the court.
In other words, it should be a minimum of 35 days.

Plus many/most OR's seem to wait until a full 21 days after the IPOQ/EDREV was issued before they will sent off the EDNCR to the creditors and start the 35 days rolling. So it can be a minimum of 57 days if they do this.

Although, if the circumstances of your case mean that your OR doesn't feel the need to do an income review/IPOQ the early discharge itself can just come out of the blue (see past posts by rog2).

I had a review, sent the forms back. I also looked into the internal process of this, so I expect it to take at least 8 weeks, taking into account postal delays in both directions.

The poll was really to see what most people experienced. Might also give others an idea who ask this question in the future.

Also, if I don't hear anything after completing my SOA, does that usually mean they have no questions regarding it?

My 'Early Discharge' came through after 6 months (almost 7 months by the time I received notification). But I had NO paperwork to submit - the last and only I/E form that I filled in was for my OR interview.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
