Bank loan disappeared from credit score
Hey peeps....new here and first post YAY ME!!!
Basically years ago i had alot of debt, got into a IVA and paid into that for 3 years until they decided to double the price of my monthly payments. I refused to pay and soon after my IVA defaulted. Most of my debtera got in touch and was either able to pay them off or set up a payment plan that was affordable. Now hears the catch...i never heard from Lloyds TSB and i owed them alot. Ive recently started using a free credit report app and noticed that my Lloyds accounts were set to closed/settled and a few months later 3 of the accounts are gone completely but one remains.
My question is....am i finally free from their clutches seeing as they were closed and now gone?
Thanks in advance
Phil

Not necessarily.
When did you last acknowledge the debt? When did it default? Have you checked all 3 CRAs?0 -
Which agency did you check with? It could be on one but not the other0

The debt may have been sold on.0

It disappeared from your credit report not your score.0
