Another YNAB vote here. I use the Steam version, which I paid £30 for after a free trial, so does that mean I will have to go over to the subscription? Totally worth it though. I like budgeting money each month for having fun with my kids and not feeling guilty spending it because "it's in the budget".

As I understand it it will be supported for at least the next year and possibly beyond. As long as it's working I wouldn't be too concerned at the moment.
  • I love YNAB (You Need a Budget), it has totally revolutionised my finances. I've used it to pay off debt, build an emergency fund savings and now make over payments on my mortgage.

Before YNAB I used an excel spreadsheet and before that paper and pencil. I've tried separate accounts for bills, food, savings etc. and envelopes, but nothing has worked for me like YNAB. For me, it's definitely worth the annual fee.

My daughter is going to university this autumn and I'm going to buy her a subscription.

Cherry, you can get YNAB for free for uni students. I think they just need to see basic proof.

Long-time YNAB lover and user here. I started using it just after it got upgraded from being a fancy spreadsheet. Wonderful software.
