Question about defaults

Hi all,

I have 6 defaults in the last 6 years and by january 2017 4 will be 6 years old and off my file but i still have 2 left from 2012 and 2013 ( £71 and £146, small amounts but i was very sick at the time )

I have never been chased and i cant even find who i now owe the money too as i called one ( EE who said it would have been sold on but they had no details anymore ) but if i do manage to find out who i now owe the debt to is there any benefit to me paying them? Will it help improve my credit rating even a little?

Once i have got rid of these two ill be a debt free man! at least on my credit file

thanks!

    No, not really.

A settled default may look slightly better than an unsatisfied one, but it's still a default.

And anyway, it only matters if you want more credit dosent it !!!
