Extensive store cupboard! Help me decide what to do with it :)

Hi Old Stylers,

I use a lot of supermarket coupons, and so have built up quite an excessive store cupboard that I need to start using up to free up some space. I have some ideas but I know there are lots of people on here with loads of amazing and imaginative recipes, so I thought I'd see if anyone has any ideas.

I'd start by drinking the bottle of red wine.

I don't drink alcohol, only use it for cooking!

  • I'd start by using up any prepared sauces, so the curry sauces first and you could add some of the tinned veg to it (eg chickpeas). You can make some pasta sauces from scratch, again adding tinned veg to it.

There's some websites available that you can pop your ingredients into and it will generate random recipes for you - might be worth a try :)

The tins of tomatoes, kidney beans and quorn mince would lend themselves to making chilli, and you have plenty of packs of microwaveable rice to go with it.

The tomato pasta sauce and penne will go together.

The box of fish pieces might go well with the Thai green curry paste and half a tin of coconut milk. I'd probably add some diced potato to that as well.

Red lentils and the rest of the coconut milk zhuzhed up with some spices would make a good soup.
