Trouble with Orange/EE continuous default on 0 balance

To cut a massively long story short. I have been fighting with these cretins for around 2 years. It started when Orange started charging for items included in my contract package for over a year I went back and forth customer services explain my situation over and over with them adding credits only for the next month my balance which should have been zero was still there and another bill with charges added on top. This ended up in a bill of £214 at this point I'd had enough and left them. They then hounded me for money I did not have nor to the point did I owe. I sent a SAR off with relevant payment and all I received was a bunch of bills, nothing of which I asked for including the phone calls of their many customer service team members telling me I had a zero balance after their credit being applied. They told me they didn't have calls as they didn't record them.
Anyway, I received a new bill with a zero balance as they had credited my account with the £214 I apparently owed as a goodwill.

So I thought that was that but wasn't I wrong. I now have a continuous default appearing every month on my credit file even though this has been sorted. I have phoned and messaged and been told there is nothing i can do unless I pay up.
Surely this is not right?

I did add pictures but had to remove them because I can't posy links apparently

Wouldn't this now be a closed account?
Can someone please help me fight this.
Regards

You should complain to the mobile telecommunications ombudsman.

There are two though, you need to google the correct one for EE.

    Hi Tazin2001,

I agree with Sourcrates that you need to complain and escalate to the Ombudsman if necessary. I would suggest that you do a new, full, written complaint to EE about this situation. Outline the original issues along with how it was resolved and explain that you believe the default is incorrect data for this reason. They can only remove incorrect data.

If it remains unresolved you can take things to the Telecommunications Ombudsman (that is the right one for EE). My concern would be that because EE credited the account as a 'gesture of goodwill' they may say that the money was owed and therefore the default it correct. Try and find as much paperwork as you can to support your case. Good luck,
