Another misleading thread title.
Yes you get 3 issues for 3p but only if you spend £11.95 or is it £13.95.
There is also a microsoft office thread very cheap but when you look all excited it is only avaialable to students.
The title is not misleading - your post is misleading though
The subscription (and direct debit) can be cancelled after the first payment of 3p for 3 issues of the magazine - if you don't cancel they will continue to send the magazine and charge £11.95 every 6 months as with any other direct debit offer
I posted a link to the terms & conditions which state that you can cancel at any time and claim a refund of unmailed issues
so you only need to pay 3p to get the USB disk

Yes the second link leads directly to the offer without the need to copy & paste0 -
I think this is on 128mb so hardly worth the bother.0

If you select a date well in advance of now for your first magazine, then you should get the free gift long before needing to cancel. There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0

I have just purchased a Samsung ip3 player. Is the USB charger going to be able to charge the ip3 player. You seem to know what the magazine is giving away.
Sorry if I have done this wrong obnly my first try at posting a reply!!!0 -
It's my husband's birthday on 25th sept so thought this might be a nice pressie for him with or without the 'free gift' as he's well into computers but can't even subscribe directly from Computer Active's web page.
Could anyone please let me know if there's a phone number I can call to make a 'one off' 6 or 12 month subscription? I'm not sure I could get it sorted before his birthday now though anyway.

If you go through quidco, you can normally find good subscription rates to magazines, I can't find anyone stocking computer active, but there are loads of other computer magazines you can get very cheap subscriptions to - I'm sure that I've had some where I've been paid to receive the mag. There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0
