They've picked a winner with the wrong answer

I have just checked to see if a winner has been picked, turns out the winner gave the wrong answer.
The question was: when was Leicester Tigers established? The answer should be 1880, however the person they picked as a winner put 1980.
Is it worth pointing this out, should they pick someone who put the correct answer?

You would like to think if a competion requires an answer then it should be the correct one given to win the prize, I'd say something but it may be a typo for all you know, Still worth while checking out as it is only fair that a winner has answered correctly.0

It didn't say you had to have the correct answer to win - it could be that they asked you to answer the question so they could reply to your comment to let you know you've wonproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0
