Applying for mortgage...grey area regarding Jersey pounds.

Me and my husband are looking at buying our first house and I've been on the phone with the mortgage advisor this morning but he's having to look into something and call me back.
My husband currently works away in Jersey and is paid by a Jersey company and pays Jersey state tax. Because he's paid in Jersey pounds they are unsure as to whether they will be able to lend to us.
His wages are paid into our joint natwest account and the jersey and gbp are the same 😩
Just wondering if anyone has any advice or has been in a similar situation
Thanks x

Id change advisor, There is no "Jersey pound" its the same as NI banks , they can issue their own but its £ sterling, if its into your bank then the notes are irrelevant0

This is what I told him. It's through my bank (natwest) that I've been discussing it with. Considering you can bank with Natwest in Jersey too it just seems silly 0
