Foil trays for batch cooking/freezing?

Can anybody recommend the best value foil trays for freezing batch cooked recipes please? Preferably individual size ones.

I have quite a few plastic ones but would like some that can go straight in the oven. I bought a few a long time ago in home bargains but haven't been in there for some time and unsure if there is a better way to buy them.

They are very cheap in the pound stores! I think you get 8 for £1, or 99p. The smaller ones are stronger and the bigger ones are a little wobbly when full.

I buy them from eBay or Amazon in bulk of about 100 depending on size, we often 'plate up' meals for MIL and she likes to bung them in the oven, she doesn't 'trust' microwaves ;)

Thank you both - bought some from amazon and they're perfect. Will try one of the pound shops if I need more/smaller amounts though.

If you need or want a different size, try the Chinese supermarkets with the wholesale section - they tend to sell by the 100 but if you find a size that'll be useful, you can always Ask.
Every 'odd' request I've handed them has been answered as they would rather have a sale & a happy customer. (35 foil pie dishes for Scouts and 5 liters of washing up liquid being one particularly memorable till chit.)

Just to mention, if you find the bigger foil trays are "floppy", you can double or treble them up to give a bit of weight and steadiness.

It's only the top one that will be used for food, so you put the rest away for another day.

You can get big packs of two different sizes (individual or larger portions) from Costco. They work out quite good value, I can't remember the exact price - I used them last year to put cooked apple in the freezer when my tree was overflowing.

    Good idea for freezing.
I've used large trays to make big lasagnes for a party. Putting them on a baking tray solves the wobble.

Another option, expensive initially of course, is to use 'Pyrex' dishes with plastic lids, as the lids can be removed for cooking. DD has taken 4 individual ones from Ikea back to uni with her; I have 4 rectangular Pyrex ones, in two sizes.
Occasionally they're half price in sales (and I got one free with the fridge freezer).

I love those too, but do have to insist on their return from family members. I think them much better than the foil trays - which however you buy them, are dearer in the long run.

I also second Chinese supermarkets as being helpful and having useful stuff - I use their plastic or metal trays for setting out food, especially for BBQs
