[she then gave me a link to the .gov website i cant post this as im a new user]
maybe she likes wasting money and time ? she has definitely got some sort of attitude problem.
so i went home after work to see whats happening with the claim on paypal.
and this is the situation and what they say...
After careful review, we have determined that you are eligible for a refund. To qualify for this refund, please send the items whose claims were granted back to the seller in their original condition and keep your tracking information. You are responsible for postage and packaging costs.
so it looks like i got my money back i have to put the tracking info in be four the 2nd of September, i will get it off tomorrow recorded delivery.
i have done a detailed video of me boxing it back up and showing the fault , tomorrow il get all the emails printed out and saved , so i surpose its a waiting game ,
wondering if i call paypal and tell them what sort of seller they are if it would do anything?
might have to order some more things off them....
second thoughts maybe not :rotfl:0 -

I want to block them! Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!0 -

Cor. That's some attitude the seller has got. Did they buy that on Ebay or did it come for free?!
I would definitely let Paypal know, especially in light of them giving you a refund. Forward them the email if possible - it could be a scam they are pulling.
Paypal may ban the seller for being a prize nasty so-and-so.
Please keep us updated. I want to hear about exactly how much trouble the seller gets into!Debt: £11,640.02 paid in full! DFD: 30/06/20

All of this criticism of the seller might be valid but if the OP's timeline is correct their first reaction was to issue a PayPal dispute rather than give the seller a chance to replace the item, not a buyer I would want to do business with.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

i have no idea too nothing through the post ,
i will do sags as soon as every thing has been sorted.they dont sell much anyway
and will keep you updated positivebalance
and i agree with you redpete, thing is i asked the question and got nothing , and within 2 hours of putting a dispute in i have all these messages of his wife, i would still have no problem with a replacement, however the seller is unapproachable.0 -
I read further up the thread that the OP raised it as a dispute through PP but didn't personally escalate it. It looks as if s/he thought that this was the most sensible way to report the problem to the seller. Personally I think I might have thought the same.
I had a bit of a problem with an online subscription to a newspaper that went wrong and was paid through PP, and because I couldn't get through to the newspaper satisfactorily, I ended up using the PP complaint system. They do allow you to de-escalate things too, if you don't respond or the seller makes an offer of recompense/restitution.
PP seems to have escalated the problem that this OP had when they did not get a satisfactory response from the seller, so it was all in their own court to avoid a negative reputation on PP/eBay. The subsequent abuse is just adding fuel to the flames....
I really hope that the OP gets a good outcome soon, and if there is a CC case going through, the judge/magistrate is probably going to be either hugely fed up or laugh him/herself sick.0 -
