I'm a student in England and my loan in April tides me over the summer so I have the same money each month all year round, seems strange that that isn't the case in Scotland. I'm also a mature student (27) and have a student bank account with the overdraft and rail card that came with it.

Yep, looks like it as the final year is reduced as it doesn't cover the summer holiday after the end of the course. So epic fail in budgeting by the OP

You could call your Internet and phone provider and explain your having issues with paying.

I don't know who this "child" is, but it quite certainly isn't funny. It gets to the point now where I have to think several times before I post anything in response to a newbie, and can't believe a thing they say now - and I doubt I am the only person thinking that way. Which means that it is the genuine people who suffer. This is, what, the third or fourth "new entity" trolling this board in a few days - presumably the same person? Disgusting behaviour and disrespectful. One can only hope that there is karma, and one day they really will be without money to buy the essentials in life. Which don't include Wi-Fi...

Quite possibly.

A couple of other forums I belong to, admittedly more specialised, moderate posts from new members until they have an established track record. It would be nice if this one did too but somehow I don't see it happening.

Otherwise all you can do is either ignore, which is sad for anyone genuine, or take it at face value and respond accordingly.
