Help My Mum Please!

I wonder if anyone can help me please, or rather, my mother. She is over 65 and she spends a lot of time here in Scotland, in Ayr where she has a static caravan. The thing is she doesn't have a bus pass, so although she has a Silver Saver for trains, she has to pay full fare on the buses. I wonder if anyone knows how she can get a bus pass for up here in Scotland, if at all? Would a bus pass from down south suffice on a bus? Any advice would be welcomed.

If your mum can provide some acceptable evidence of an address she resides at in Scotland (bank statement or pass book is ideal) she should be able to swing it. You will find all the gen at: http://www.spt.co.uk/concessionarytravel/index.html

It sounds to me though that she doesnt

She spends some time here and obviously fancies a card anyway and looks like their looking for ways to con the system

What a great use of everyone elses taxes

What a nasty reply!This person is asking about something that they believe their mum may be entitled to. They may be wrong, but that doesnt mean they are deliberately conning the system. Do think about peoples feeling before answering!!
