I won a competition I entered after the closing date?!?!

I had a look on this site this morning before work and saw mypython had posted a comp to win tickets to the death proof celeb pro banger race. Being a HUGE Tarantino fan and living close to Wimbledon I thought i'd search the net to see if there were any more. I found one (carnoisseur) and entered, then realised the closing date for that part was 10/9 (3 days ago). Anyways to cut a long story short about 3 hours later I recieved an email saying id won the tickets! I'm in shock! Has this ever happend to anyone before? I thought it maybe because no one entered before the closing date however my colleaugue entered about 5 mins before I did. Very Strange! However im very happy, but she wasnt becuase she realised she couldnt go anyways because she starts night school that day

Congrats I think the reasoning behind this has to be they only just choose the winner today so you were the last person to enter & therefore first email (assuming you entered my email) in their inbox & they choose you. They musn't have looked at the date of email or something!
