Ok, long story short. 2 years ago ran up a huge credit card bill £5500 and then lost my job. Was paying £12 a month for ppi for over 4 years and when I went to claim on it for want of a better expression they claimed that either they had not recieved the paperwork, it was incomplete or it was being processed.
All the time I was recieving calls from lloyds demanding I make payments on the card. December 2004 I finally managed to get a job and make £100 a month payments until I managed to clear other debts. In January 2005 lloyds took me to court and gave me a ccj for my troubles.
Since then I have managed to claw my way out of debt but want this resolved as the ccj is really annoying considering I had insurance that should have covered me. Have lodged a complaint with lloyds and after more than a week I haven't heard nothing. Have filled in the Complaint form from the Financial Ombudsman Service and am awaiting a response.
Is there anything else I should be doing/done.?
thanks in advance.

It seems rather incredible that they can claim the paperwork was never filed when they'd been taking the payments for 4 years, outrageous!
I think there are threads on this board about reclaiming mis-sold PPI. Have a search for the PPI threads on this board and you should get some more advice on the steps to take.0
