Hi, just wanted a little bit of guidance. Since the world went Pokemon crazy i have unearthed my old Pokemon cards whilst moving house. Does anyone know if they are worth anything or how much or even where to sell them?! i had a quick look on ebay but that didn't really help as they were all different prices. I'd like to be able to sell the but without been ripped off and selling them for a lot less than there actually worth.
Has anyone else sold theirs recently?
Has anyone else sold theirs recently?

Firstly go back and have a look at the eBay prices again, are you looking at completed prices, if so work out why the more expensive ones made more money than the cheaper ones- it could just be something to do with the seller or their terms. Ignore listed prices that haven't sold yet, they could be pie in the sky.
Also try Facebook , if these do have a value then try offering them for cash on Facebook selling groups.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. if you know what price you want to sell them try this websites: http://en.shpock.com/
https://www.gumtree.comWhat happens if you push this button?0 -
Different cards will be worth different amounts.
Common, easy to come by cards will be worth a few pence whereas rarer cards will be worth more so you're going to have to spend the time to research them.
The older cards from "back in the day" should have some retro value but there has been a new series of cards, games and shows every couple of years since it was first launched. I know I bought my son a "starter set" of older cards for a £1 a few months back to get him started...I think there was 7 cards.
You could just flog the lot in one go but you risk not making as much as you could going through them individually but again, you risk spending ours to only make a few quid >.<0 -
Shinies and the rarer pokemon/cards are worth big money at the moment.
As mentioned look at sold prices on eBay, sell them individually, group the lower value cards.
Don't bother with Facebook or Gumtree, restricts the market too much and they are fairly specialist. Not to mention theirs collectors across the world and traders won't really be looking at Devon, buy swap sell!
If you have a comic store near by there's a good chance they'll have a good idea on values and might even buy them off you.
Original Charizards and mew twos go for hundreds so hopefully you haven't of them!?
Sorry have one of them!0
