Can anyone help me with the Garmin Express software please:
Hubby and I both have Garmin Forerunners, I upload my info all the time but hubby doesn't because he's a techno-phobe. I'm worried about connecting his watch to Garmin Express in case it syncs and adds his data to mine. (He runs a LOT faster than me and I would hate to have his PB's to try and beat haha).
I've created him a separate Garmin account, it's just this GE I'm worried about. Does anyone know if I can sync his data separately to mine?
Thanks

If you've set up separate accounts and registered the watches to each you should be fine. Maybe just do a small run each and try?? you can always delete the run in Garmin Connect if it goes wrong0

Hi,
Ideally use distinct computer login accounts,
then ensure Garmin Express does not auto start and that you close it when you log out.
On setup you associate Garmin Express with your Garmin Connect account.
Each Garmin device is also registered to a particular Garmin Connect account.
So login as you setup Express and associated with your Connect account, register your ForeRunner.
Then close Express and logout.
Login as other half, setup his Express and Connect account and register his ForeRunner.
Hope this helps0 -
Thanks for the replies, very helpful0

When you add a device to garmin express it asks you for the garmin account to link it to.
For example even if you had just sync'd your watch then immediately add your hubbys it is quite capable of assigning that watch to a different account.
So one GE can have several devices for several different people.“Time is intended to be spent, not saved” - Alfred Wainwright0
