Scam?

Options
Does the team think (and you won't get that unless you are as old as me:rotfl:) this is a scam?

My cousin 'liked & shared' it and it has all the hallmarks but if you go to the companies page, there is actually a link to enter the comp which goes to 'Get Me A Ticket'
Now I realise they are considered one of the spam generators - but are their comps actually fake? :undecided

Also, if you 'enjoy' sob stories there are already quite a few...
"If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you. "

It looks like one of those fake pages to me, which are set up to harvest likes. I've seen a few in the past, usually Disney based or Virgin airlines. I'd steer well clear.

i haven't looked at it but GMAT , spam aside, are not necessary a con, there are real prizes and they are won - that type of site usually run the competitions on numerous websites, have long closing dates and several different prizes are actually only one - Could be one for say £10k, another for a car, another for a holiday. another a fitted kitchen etc but only one of the prizes will be won and that will be covered in the T&C's

an example from Myoffers where all these "different" competitions are for just one prize
There will be 1 winner who will receive one of the following prizes: 2 Ford Fiesta' s - one for you and one for your friend or a Nissan Qashqai or a Mini Cooper One Convertible or a VW Golf Estate or a BMW 1 series or a top of the range Smart ForFour car or £15,000 of premium bonds or £15,000 Cash or £15,000 to spend on your mortgage or deposit or all your household bills paid for a year- including food, council tax etc up to £15,000 or £15,000 Cash Bonanza or a £15k prize bundle - to include a Corsa, insurance, car tax and petrol, Apple Mac, iPad mini, iphone 6s and watch, Summer holiday for the whole family, xbox one with games, a Smeg fridge, Makita drill, parrot wireless headphones
