Can't delete junk emails.

When I try to delete junk emails I get the following message roots@localhost not valid. Was fine until yesterday. I'm on Window 10. Any suggestions please?

    Are you using the native email client built into windows 10 ?
    If so, where are your emails hosted ?

    Sorry, I don't understand any of that, not very computer literate I'm afraid. It was fine until yesterday.

    When you access your emails, are you doing it through an internet page ?
    Or are you using the "Mail" application built into windows 10 ..


    And who is your mail provider ? ie is it hotmail, or gmail etc etc

    Hotmail. I just click on the Hotmail symbol in the line across the top of the screen.

    Guessing browser then. Probably Edge. Try a different browser.
