Transferring a Mortgage

Hi, I am currently going through an (amicable) divorce. Our house is in my name only as my husband has had a bad credit history due to debts and working for himself. He has now got permanent work, has worked hard to consolidate and clear his debts. I want this house to be transferred to him as i want to buy somewhere new. What do you think the chances are of this happening and is it quick?
Thanks

With a very poor credit history potentially slim. Tell him to speak to a broker. As the finer detail will make all the difference.0

You can't "transfer" it to him. Since there's a mortage attached he'd need to get a mortage in his own right amd buy it from you. . Without knowing all the details such a s ize of mortage, his salary, % LTV and the details of his credit history no one can possibly know.0
