Hi
Any idea where in Central Scotland I can find shabby chic style cotton material for sewing simple curtains pls?
I'm mainly looking for florals, but also prints (eg polka dots, checks) so I can make colour coordinated cushions and other accessories.
I don't really want tiny or too large prints.
Cheers

Hello I buy a lot of clarke and clarke cotton fabrics - modern day classics range may suit you . I buy most of mine online but have also used dun*lm . I'm in nw england but on my visits to scotland have seen a branch in both Edinburgh and Glasgow . They don't have the whole range and there are some bargains elsewhere online but for 100% cotton the full price is affordable . Good luck .

You can see lots of the different ranges available via Mr Google. It is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.0 -
I've bought lots of materials over the years from these two stores
http://cottonprintglasgow.co.uk/about-2/

They aren't too far apart if you are driving and worth visiting both.
I've also picked up several pairs of curtains recently in charity shops which I've been able to reuse the fabric for other things.0 -
Thanks Pollyanna26 and Scottishminnie for your suggestions! Will definitely check out Dunelm, Clarke and Clarke, Cotton Print Glasgow and Remnant King!!!0
