My insurance has never been cheaper - two cars (one 2 years old, the other a year older) comprehensively insured for myself and my wife (with £50 excess) for £282 together from Admiral with a further £60 Quidco cashback......
I am not complaining (for once) !!

I just got a letter from Direct Line telling me when my insurance is going to be auto renewed and my premium has gone up £200 for no reason. I then looked on other insurance websites and my premium is £200 cheaper to what I paid. Lol.

See ya direct line. I'm not even going to bother calling them up to complain.

My Insurance is less than cheap these days.

£330 for the 14 plate Picanto Full Comp with Business Use for myself and the wife.

But just under £600 for an 07 Berlingo 1.4i Multispace with the same drivers and coverage is taking the mickey.

And they are both with the same Co, albeit the Berlingo is Axa via Swiftcover and the Picanto is direct with AXA.

Strangely the Berlingo policy was the Policy that the 116D was on, car was valued at six times the amount and was around £400 a year if I remember correctly.

That is one reason the Berlingo is on shaky ground, God knows why it is so expensive to insure.

Admiral were my insurers during the only time I've had to make a claim (non-fault, cost £0 and kept no claims) and they were good. Got a courtesy car worth about 10x the value of mine for a whole month, didn't bother me at all. :D

You won't need to, they'll call you as soon as you cancel :)

Hastings were the worst auto-renewal I had: they had the crass temerity to charge a renewal fee for my loyalty. Never again...

Where i live i've got a Liverpool post code, but just up the road a bit are houses with a St Helens post code who get cheaper insurance. There are even houses facing each other on opposite sides of the same road that have to pay different rates.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

I didn't even ask for my car insurance to be auto renewed when I first bought it online. I think they have been trying to contact me for a while on some dodgy 330 number. I then got the letter and the calls have stopped so I know it's them.
