Argos card
Anyone know if Argos still can charge a fee for paying off a fixed term interest free offer early? e.g paying off a balance after 9 months instead of 12, on a 12 months interest free item.
I had read in the terms and conditions that they 'might' charge a fee if you settle the balance on an item before the interest free period is up, but looking at the terms again I can't find it now, might have missed it tho as there is a fair bit of small print.

I've never had one, just ensure you pay by the date specified on your statement as they don't send reminders about your interest free period ending. It's a good store card for INT free offers.

Well they need to update it as they haven't with me, be interested to see if anyone else has the card and have they had notification as shown above.

Yeah it's a bit crafty as they print it on the BACK of the statement, so the front shows you have £0 to pay on the pay date but the interest free ends on that day so if you don't pay the item off then you get hit with the full 6/9 or 12 months of interest!
Think thre maybe be a letter in there to but it would be better to have it clearly showing on the front of the statement.
Good card apart from that.0
