An interesting rare civil win for those who argue against unread online/attached Terms & Conditions.
This was more a principled stance - rather than a huge £ windfall - as the ex-copper/law student was merely seeking what had been promised rather than seeking Costs.
I think he only sought £50 expenses in any event.
But still a rare David v Goliath (or monolith in the case of SLC who, of course, have a track record - remember those fake lawyer letters they were caught sending out in 2014?)

Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.
