hi,
thanks in advance for any help given.
I have received and replied to letters from llowel who have purchased a debt from very (addittions)
I requested the signed cca using the letter template from this site (which is great by the way) and followed up with the 30+ template.
They have finally produced a cca with my details on, but this has no signature on, just typed, also there are two different dates on the forms,
one states account opened 07-12-2008 the other form says signed 29-06-2011
i am not wholley convinced this is acceptable as proof of a debt as the whole thing could have been printed and my details put in place.
any advice as to what to do now over the discrepancies would be greatfully received
Thanks

Hi k0151 and welcome to MSE,
When you make the £1 CCA request they are only required to provide a 'true copy' of the original agreement. This should be an accurate representation of what you would have signed and can be patched together from several document. And it does not need to have a signature I am afraid. So, the fact that there is no signature is actually ok under this request.
However, I cannot account for the 2 different dates on the document you have had. Perhaps it is the date the account was opened (in 2008) and the date they were allocated the account (in 2011)? If you are concerned it may be worth going to your local CAB to get someone to look at it. Good luck,
Laura

Thank you so much for the speedy reply,
I will be making an appointment with the CAB to get some assistance and clarification regarding the 2 different dates.
Thanks again0
