Spent £4.20 on food and drink at lunch time :o - really really should bring a pack up in - had a bad night/morning at home and just thought I'll get something when I'm there - then I spent that much

Need to get a prescription later so £6.85 but I'm getting a prepayment certificate so it'll be reimbursed as I'll get a receipt.

  • The day didn't quite go as planned, but I did just spend £2.18 on my dad's export, + a £2 coin in the change which is already in the tin, but I've counted it as a spend.
Hypno the bread didn't quite rise as I expected, so hubby's getting stodgy bread but with a delicious filling for his lunch tomorrow. If he complains, I'll just blame you:rotfl:

Edit: forgot to say rog, hope you here good news today!

anyways today i went over budget me thinks
    £0.60 ~ sandwich
    £0.30 ~ 2 cups of tea
    £0.50 ~ choc bar
    and then ~ £9.99 ~ tamagotchi :o

    £11.39
  • Bad day for me:

50p for tea & biccies at my Breastfeeding Support Group
2.85 for a big bottle of milk and a Dairy Milk

£10 on petrol but that comes out of our weekly budget.

This is where it goes a bit haywire: :o

    Approx £15 for tea

In a pub that offers 2 for 1 but includes 2 pints of lager, a diet coke and a J20

(I had post pregnancy brain today and lost my car keys, which have since been found)

  • Too much!!!!
£6 on lunch out with a colleague after a tough meeting at work
£16.50 on a jumper for my brother's birthday (was marked down from £65 though!)
£14 on a teapot for a friends moving in pressie
£3 on crisps and chocolates to have with friends tonight over coffee
£2.50 on cards and wrapping paper
    50p on parking
£5 on envelopes (for wedding invitations)
£3.75 on a big pack of padded envelopes for sending pressies etc
99p on a bunch of red roses (reduced....and very pretty...)

On the plus side everything i got was very good value compared with anything i bought pre-MSE days; on the minus side I blew my weekly budget in a matter of minutes....
This getting out of debt business is very hard work at the moment.
    Good night all x
  • Don't worry Irishmist, like you said pre mse you would have blown far more, I think you did ok

I spent 88p on 2 pints of milk
1.01 on a bar of chocolatea and a packet of aero bubbles (I can't believe how much chocolate costs these days!)
£6.50 on postage (but it was for stuff that I had sold on ebay)

    So not too bad today

oh sorry forgot went to the Trafford Centre for an outfit for my brothers wedding in a few weeks, bought a dress from Monsoon for £75.00 (it should have been £95 but got a bit off as there were some loose strands of thread on it, but its fine) and £20 on a fastinator (thing to wear on my head, instead of a hat thingy)

so not great but had to be done

Arghhh my car was £20 less than I thought but my CC would not be accepted. So Mrs Skint or what.

Glad husband has said he will halves with me.
