Loan Advice

Hi

Looking for advice would appreciate any. We agreed to have our boiler replaced and took out a finance agreement with a company here. They financed things through Barclays partner finance. Not long after installation we were forced from our home (can't go into details but it did involve violent and aggressive neighbours). We've had to hand back our keys to the house as we couldn't get it sold nor could we do rent and mortgage on two properties. We're renting just now, but face the prospect of having to pay for this boiler in our former home for the next 10 years. If we have to then fine, I respect that, but if not how do we go about that?

Many thanks.

If you had paid for the boiler out of your savings, the money wouldn't have been refunded to you.

The boiler finance will be your responsibility even if you had left the property the next day.

I was asking if, as we were more or less driven out of our home, if we still were liable for paying off the boiler. I fully suspect that we do, however, I was wondering if there was any possibility it might be different.

That's what I suspect. Just thought it worth asking though.

I don't doubt that. Just thought I'd ask.
