Good Morning fellow DFW Peeps and welcome old timers and newbies alike :hello:
Welcome to Thursday !!!!!
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
So, today I will:

Morning Hyno
I have decided I will try to join in with this thread to try and keep me motivated. So today I will try to:
1. Do daily clicks for first time.
2. Hang washing out
3. Try and sort out a proper budget (I have been all over the place since going self employed and not knowing what I will be earning)
4. I will do 15 mins of the paperwork that I have been avoiding.
Hopefully this will start me off in the right direction.
Hope everyone has a good day!Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Paid a wad of £120 onto my Sainsburys credit card bill. Still a long way to go, but at least I've made a payment towards it for this month.
Going to see a free film tonight in Edinburgh (Superbad) courtesy of Seefilmfree. Er, that's about it.
Yesterday went well as it was my leaving lunch from work so I didn't have to pay (and was so stuffed I didn't need to make a dinner in the evening!), but did buy a new chainset for my bike as I'll need it for commuting next week.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Hi all,
Things for today:
Saved £4 on a bus fare as DH gave me a lift to/from work
Sister gave me a leaving card to give to a leaver at work tomorrow
Forgot to get chocolates as a gift for tomorrow but luckily had ones I brought with Boots points for my mum so they will do.
Did rpoints and cashbag clicks.
Got 3 lots of 10 photos using my Boots digital printing £2 vouchers given by Boots ages ago and also got 300 points back onto my Boots card. :T
Inside one lot of photos someone had put in a Boots digital printing £2 voucher. I was very surprised and happy of course.
Wonder if the nice young guy who serves me all the time
put it in or whether it was an accident.
Sold an item I listed on Ebay and made £2.50 profit.
That's all so far.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
