Anyone know of a good Pet Sitter?

I'm going on holiday for a week and have a pet rabbit. I've tried looking online but there doesn't seem to be many people or any companies doing pet sitting here, compared to England.
I've found a bunny boarding place, but I'm unsure if maybe it'd be better to leave him at home and get someone to call in. However, I'm also a bit paranoid about having a stranger around my house so I'd really appreciate any recommendations or advice.

What area are you in? The Cottage Cattery just outside Newtownards offer boarding for bunnies. I can highly recommend them (our cat boards there when we're away).

Thanks for the link jenny-wren, but it's worrying that they don't insist on rabbits being vaccinated against myxo/vhd. That's offputting as although my rabbit is fully vaccinated, there's still a small chance he could catch one of these diseases if exposed to it.0

The owner is a veterinary nurse and I'm sure if you expressed your concerns to her she could ensure that your bunny is boarded away from others. Might be worth giving her a call.
Hope this helps.Norn Iron Club Member 330
