Advise on mortgage for first time buyer

Hello I'm hoping someone can give me some advise. Myself and my partner have applied for a mortgage in principle, the house is £140,000 and our deposit is £65,000. His credit score is spotless but mine isn't, I defaulted on a phone bill but it was paid off over a year ago. Is this likely to stop us from getting a mortgage? And would this effect his credit if we were both on the mortgage together? Any advise would be greatly appreciated:)

look im an ex bankrupt, my house value was 140,000 and deposit was 25,000 so id like to think you stand a good chance with that deposit0

With the default in the picture, I would engage a good broker to find a lender who will accept it based on it's age.
If applying jointly, then you will both be associated financially once the mortgage starts and your credit history will impact your partner's (and vice versa).0
